Appointments for IST20 2022

May 19, 2022

It has been three years in coming but the Inter Services T20 tournament returns to Lord’s for the first time since 2019 – and UKAF ACO are once again delighted to be able to provide the officials for both days.

As has been well publicised, there is a new look to the event with the Royal Navy taking on Royal Air Force at the Army Cricket Ground in Aldershot on Tuesday 14th June before both sides head to cricket’s HQ on Thursday 16th June to both meet reigning champions Army.

However, for the first time, there will be a Women’s fixture inbetween the two Inter Services games at Lord’s with a UKAFCA XI playing MCC and UKAF ACO are excited to be able to provide a full female officiating panel.  Maj Ami Johnson will be taking to the field as umpire alongside an MCC appointment while Miss Linda Judd and Mrs Helen Hyde will be beneath ‘Old Father Tme’ in the scorers box.

UKAF ACO are pleased to announce the following members have been appointed to officiate across both days:

MATCH REFEREE:
Capt Christian Nicholson (Army)

UMPIRES:
FS Gary Eustace (Royal Air Force)
WO2 Alex Rennie (Army)
WO2 AQMS Simon Mellor (Army)
Maj Ami Johnson (Army)

SCORERS:
Cpl Andy Newcombe (Royal Air Force)
Miss Linda Judd (Royal Navy)
Mr Richard Isaacs
Mrs Helen Hyde

Many congratulations to those who have been appointed and we look forward to seeing you in action at Aldershot and Lord’s in June.
